Located on the second floor of a historic noble building, in the main shopping street of the historic center, just a few steps from the main square, it also features a private parking space in the internal courtyard where an electric car charging station is available. Ideal location for exploring Sicily The house is in a very strategic location, an ideal starting point for exploring the wonders of Sicily, just a few minutes' walk from the Giarre-Riposto railway station and only 3.5 km from the A18 motorway exit, making it easily accessible. Catania airport can be reached in just 40 minutes via the motorway. Situated in the most elegant and commercial street in the historic centre of Giarre, the house is surrounded by everything you need to make your stay comfortable and pleasant: supermarkets, bakeries, restaurants, pizzerias, wine bars, pubs and shops of all kinds are just a few steps away, and then the Port of Etna and the famous fish market of Riposto are only a 20-minute walk away. Despite being in the heart of the city, the area is quiet and safe, far from the hustle and bustle of the nearby city of Catania, which is nevertheless easily reachable in only 25 minutes by motorway. Close to beaches, nature and culture Only a 5-minute drive away are numerous beaches, some equipped with seasonal facilities. Nature lovers will enjoy unique scenery due to the proximity of the majestic volcano Etna, which is only 30 minutes away, and the Alcantara Gorges, only 35 minutes away; the splendid Taormina, with its Greek Theatre and Isola Bella, are only a 25-minute drive away by motorway; Syracuse, with its Greek Theatre and Ortigia, can be reached in just over an hour; the hydrofoil for a visit to the wonderful Aeolian Islands is 75 minutes away. Very accessible, and goes out of his way to ensure your stay is as good as it can be. The appartment (top floor) has everything you need, and a wonderful view of Mt Etna. It is very spacious and clean will all amenities. Francesco provided all sorts of recommendations for restaurants, bars, cafe's, places to go etc., allowing us to maximize our stay. After leaving, one of our bags was lost at the Catania/Sicily airport - Francesco even offered to go there and help find it - WOW. The apartment is in an ideal location to walk the streets of Giarre and we made several easy day trips to Ortigia and Taormina. They went above and beyond…providing us with recommendations for local restaurants,grocery stores and local site seeing. Can see the Mt Etna from the apartment. large penthouse style place with a lot of space. Bathrooms are small but functional. Bedrooms are fairly large. Von dieser Wohnung kann man nur schwärmen: Ansprechend möbliert, großzügig geschnitten, ruhig, mit eigenem Parkplatz, Küche sehr gut ausgerüstet, direkter Blick auf den Ätna. Der Hausherr kümmert sich rührend um seine Gäste, wir würden jederzeit gerne wieder hinfahren. ##### Hermann N. Die Wohnung ist ein Traum, viel Platz, geschmackvoll eingerichtet, große Küche - gut ausgestattet, 2 Terrassen mit Blick auf den Ätna, etc. Francesco ist ein überaus freundlicher Gastgeber und kümmert sich rührend um seine Gäste, die Kommunikation mit ihm erfolgte problemlos und schnell. Appartamento fantastico, spazioso (noi eravamo in 10 e siamo stati benissimo), dotato di tutto come descrizione e foto, ha rispettato tutte le nostre aspettative. Dal balcone una vista mozzafiato sull'Etna, abbiamo assistito anche ad una esplosione notturna in diretta!!! Un grazie sincero a Francesco che ha soddisfatto tutte le nostre esigenze e ci ha consigliato Paolo, geologo che ci ha accompagnato in una magnifica escursione sull'Etna, il must della vacanza!!! Orgogliosi di essere stati i primi italiani a soggiornare nell'appartamento!!!! ##### Sergio E. ### 10/10 – Excellent #### Sönke S. 20 oct. 2019 Points forts : Propreté #### Ein Urlaub in einer luxuriösen Ferienwohnung Zwar verraten die Bilder schon alles, bleibt eigentlich nur zu schreiben: all das stimmt. Die Wohnung ist wirklich groß , hat einen riesigen Wohnbereich und zwei große Schlafzimmer. Die Küche ist super ausgestattet und auch riesig. Von beiden Terassen aus kann man den Ätna sehen, es gibt Liegestühle, Sonnenschirm und einen Grill. Was man auf den Bildern nicht sehen kann, ist, dass Francesco überaus gastfreundlich ist und sich rührend um seine Gäste kümmert. Danke Francesco, für diesen tollen Urlaub ##### Sönke S.
