The host was very nice. He arranged a taxi from the airport and I arrived close to 0200. He greeted me, which I appreciated. The room was a nice size and the AC worked well. I did experience mosquitos and loud music at night, which affected my sleep, though I understand these are not things the host can control. The toilet could have used more attention in terms of cleaning. In the morning, the host brought coffee and breakfast snacks to the room on a tray, which was a thoughtful and appreciated touch.

Great Location in Georgetown

Carris is a small, cozy establishment in a great location for dining and easy access to the city center. Gilbert is a personable host who made us feel welcome and who went above and beyond to accommodate some of our unique needs and airline delay challenges.

The property was close to pretty much anything you want relating to food transportation and parking the hospitality was excellent. The rooms were very, very nice. The one that I stayed in but CARRIS has another room, which is really immaculate with the terrace and the view, I suggest folks with should request the room with terrace based in budget

The owner Gilbert is an amazing host. From the moment I arrived he was so helpful. Breakfast was awesome. The best part was he was prepared to take me around to help me get acclimated to make sure I got a fair price. If there’s somewhere to stay and you’re new to the country or town this is the place to go.

Excellent time staying at Carris! I arrived past-midnight and with short notice but Gilbert ensured the room was ready and that I was comfortable. The accommodations are simple but had everything i needed and more, and felt like home for 2 days. Gilbert also pointed me toward a great tour operator, and also offered me breakfast pastries. Topnotch service and great value, i would 100% recommend staying at Carris!

Carris is one of the best small hotels I have stayed. It is located in a nice area of George Town with easy access to several food joints and restaurants. It is the host Gilbert’s hospitality and guest service which makes this place so special. He lives in the same property and is always available. He personally took me to do my essential shopping on arrival and made me feel at home. He was there to help with everything I needed My five nights stay in Carris felt like I am visiting a long lost friend’s home rather than a hotel. The facilities are very good. There may other accommodations with five star ratings for amenities, but it is rare to find a five star host like Gilbert.

I felt very welcomed and safe. There was excellent communication before my stay. They arraigned transport for me to and from the airports. Coffee and breakfast was placed in my room because of my very early departure. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was a very short stay but lovely nonetheless.

I stayed for 15 days and I had absolutely no issues it was clean, private, fully air-condition , very convenient to all shopping and their is a taxi base right across the street. Very nice large size room upper level and lower level to sit and relax Convenience store across the street one around the corner and another on the next street over OMG is a restaurant worth trying I had the Kabobs Combo and the Platter Sample #2 Beacon Roti was delicious There's also a night club that's walking distance but it's being renovated Things to consider when booking at this location invest in a mosquito net and some bug spray You do have to call the establishment ahead of time with your arrival time and then contact them again the day
