The guest house is basically an apartment located in a nondescript building but the rooms themselves are pleasant and spacious, and very clean and well appointed. And the local hostess was most helpful and generous. Guest house was very clean, well kept with good facilities right in the heart of the port area in Genoa. Her help with our parking, where to eat and what to visit was all brilliant. She was very kind even though we arrived later than we had expected and made us feel very special and welcome. When you get out of the building you will be across the aquarium. Walkable to many tourist places. Plenty of restaurants around. Our room was very clean. The coffee machine is in a common living room shared with 3 other rooms. Simona our host is amazing- she’s like a long lost cousin welcoming you in her home. Wish I could have stayed longer. Prior to arrival, received all necessary information by whatsapp. We were really pleased by the decor and feel of the common area and there is a kitchenette with tea and coffee available. The bedroom was very spacious and comfortable, excellent pillows! The bathroom is an accessible wet room style. In and around the area the shops, restaurants and attractions are easily reached on foot. She’s very kind, welcoming, and a lovely soul. She’s like your old friend you haven’t seen in years. She waited for us even when we come a bit later than the usual check in time. The room is spacious, clean, and tastefully decorated. Perfect for your base in Genova. The location is very central. 4mins from Metro and close to the water. You can walk everywhere in Genova old town from here.
