Sipping coffee and watching the sun come up was treat every morning. We brought our boat to do some fishing and couldn't have asked for better. Even at low tide you can easily get your boat to and from the covered boat house. The channel goes straight to the river. Not a long hot slow going no wake zone. The people coming by on their boat were friendly. There are plenty of covered areas to get out of the sun and cool off for a quick lunch or a cold one. If the waves are a little too rough in the sound, you can always take a nice ride up the river. It's beautiful and definitely worth a cruise up it. All in all, it was great trip with great fishing.
