BEAUTIFUL CABIN RUNNING BEAR DEN
NAME OF CABIN SAYS IT ALL....WE HAD A BLAST AT THIS CABIN AND THE HOST WAS VERY RESPONSIVE. OVERALL AN AWESOME PLACE TO STAY. WE HAD BEARS EVERY SINGLE DAY. LOCK YOUR CARS AND HOUSE DOORS!!!! THE DRIVEWAY IS STEEP BUT MANAGABLE. BEARS BEARS BEARS EVERYWHERE. THE CABIN WAS ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL AND WE HAD A LOT OF FUN IN THE GAME ROOM.

Carrie was responsive to calls and texts, however I did have to ask the day we arrived what the passcode for the door was as it was not given prior and we were locked out of the house two days prior to the date we were to check out. House was lovely, however cleaning crew could do a better job on toilets and floors.

Pictures do not do this cabin justice. Its perfect down to every last detail. Great location and close to all the fun activities. We will definately be booking again for our next trip to TN!!!

We thoroughly enjoyed our time. The home was very clean and we enjoyed having places to relax and places to have fun. The lower level area with the pool table and game table a very cool. We felt it was worth it and had a great time!

Great stay
We were very happy with the location of the house. We were a little surprised and disappointed with the lack of views. The house was very nicely decorated but had a bit of wear and was not as well stocked in the kitchen as I had hoped. We did have a problem with bears getting into the garbage because of a broken latch on the bin but I was told it would be fixed and bear watching turned out to be a bonus!

Bears Everywhere!!
Nine of our family members had a great week in this beautifully appointed cabin! The decor is so cute and perfect for the rustic cabin atmosphere. The architecture inside is spectacular accompanied by beautiful wood. We saw bears every day but one (out of 5). They emptied the trash and tried to open the car doors. We found large paw prints on the door handles. One bear walked along the front porch and climbed down the railing by the hot tub. Be sure to honk your car horn before going out! The bears added to the fun but we stayed as far away from them as possible.

Running Bear Cabin
This was a great cabin to stay in for our family. It is really close to all activities around Gatlinburg. On one of the mornings we even got to see a mama bear and three cubs walk down the driveway! I highly recommend staying at this cabin.

Overall the property is extremely nice. However upon check in there were areas that didnt seem to have been cleaned after the previous occupants. We had to clean the down stairs tub and the main level shower prior to use. Also the upstairs tube leaked preventing use of this room during the stay. Property owner did offer to have a plumber come out but I chose just to not use this tub-didnt want to have to sit with a plumber and didnt want to leave my stuff in the cabin if someone was in the unit while we were out since the owner was not responsible for any loss of property. Overall the cabin is very nice and in a great location

We enjoyed the porches and being able to sit outside and watch nature. The house in on the mountain and surrounded by trees and we even saw bears crossing the road.

Nice place in the mountains
Wonderful getaway in Gatlinburg. The cabin was roomy and gave our 2 families plenty of space. The driveway is steep and small so be prepared. The owner was super attentive and made sure (during our stay) that we had all we needed. Toward the end of our trip, we lacked bathroom paper goods (only one roll per bathroom) so we made a trip -- that would be the extent of what was needed. I'd recommend this place as it was a nice getaway for our family to watch it snow in March -- our FIRST experience! Thank you for a great place to crash after shopping and entertainment in Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg (this place sits right between both)!

The house was beautiful! Nicely decorated for Christmas. Location stunk. Right near the ski area, Traffic always backed up to prevent us to get to our road to the driveway, Unless we took the longer way up the mountain. Again house was beautiful. With that said, cleaners missed a few things when we got there. In one bedroom we found medicine viles for a nebulizer on the floor by the bed side. Then beware because after the trip, the cleaners somehow found a cigarette butt in the basement. The owner is looking for extra money because she decided that she should charge an extra $1000 because we broke contract by smoking in the house. We had one smoker in the house of 10 people, and he ALWAYS went outside. He NEVER smoked in the house (he would put his butts in pocket when done smoking and assuming one fell out) but she insisted that it smelled like smoke. She is lying and not a thing I could do about it but pay the extra UNREASONABLE fee. So BEWARE, she's looking for the extra buck. Also if you have the top bedroom, hope you are a deep sleeper, there are Chipmunks or some other type of critters running around in the walls that will keep you up ALL night. I nicely warned her about it so they don't cause havoc on the house, but after the crazy fee that she wants charge for made up reasons, I wish I would have never said anything. That's ok, karma will come back around I'm sure.

Amazing property! Cabin is beautiful and owner goes above and beyond to have snacks, hot chocolate bar, bottle of wine and check on you throughout your stay. Wonderful experience!
