A great base to explore the nearby Mount Nangar National Park and limestone caves.Very generous host - we have just used the last herbs that Sally had left in a glass of water in the House, along with other goodies. "Maggie and Ron are fabulous hosts! Our cottage was beautifully presented and very eco friendly. Everything was perfect, idyllic scenery, quiet and peaceful. We had fresh milk in the fridge and Maggie even made us blueberry cheesecake and a cooked breakfast! Our dog Archie had a great time too and was welcomed.We left with fresh eggs and homemade jams and marmalade! Wish we lived closer, we'd be back more often. "

"Beautiful and clean property, generously appointed with everything you could need for a home away from home stay. We have given the maximum rating to most categories but pulled back a star because although our stay was for 4 days we only received one towel each. The agent said this was normal regardless of how many days were booked but did offer to drop another towel each , we made do with what we had. We rate this accomodation nine(9) out of ten. "

### Bendalong | Rural Retreat, Short Drive to CBD

"A lovely property in a very quiet location. We stayed here last year too and since then, plantation shutters have been added to all rooms. The master suite is huge and has a lovely bathroom. The room with the fireplace is very cosy and we used it a lot as it was very cold and raining during our stay. In warm weather there is a lovely verandah in the gardens. We noticed it wasn’t quite as clean as the last time we stayed but nothing we couldn’t fix ourselves. The house is very dark and none of the lighting, except the bathrooms, seems to be sufficient, especially on dark and dreary days. But all in all, it’s a lovely place to stay"
