  • Welcome to Camp Ellwin. Situated in the picturesque Galway NY, the foothills of the Adirondacks.

    Camp Ellwin is a fully renovated home on Galway Lake. With a large private backyard, a 2 minute walk to a private beach with access to Galway Lake, which is strictly no motor boats. 4 Kayaks (2 single, 2 double) and safety jackets provided! An easy 30 minute drive straight into the town of Saratoga Springs.

    Our goal is that Camp Ellwin feels like your home away from home. Where you, your family, and friends can connect to make memories that last a lifetime!

Picture perfect and exactly as described, frankly exceeding all our expectations. Camp Ellwin was a gem and true home away from home. Gracious hosts Kathleen and her parents left us the most thoughtful welcome note and goodies. The house was beautifully decorated, neat as a pin, and well-stocked with loving attention to every detail. We had a wonderful time swimming in the lake, which is pristine and just a short walk down a gravel path, and playing board games from the collection. If only we had more time to take advantage of the kayaking and fire pit / s’mores! Hopefully next time!
