The total lonely location, silence and swoosh of the ocean, ocean breeze mixed with the flavour of the wild growing herbs coin this place. You walk only 5 minutes over the Camino Charco, an old walking path, which leads to the Charco Azul, a by the cliffs protected bathing place. In the other direction it leads as the walking path Camino San Salvador up to the mountains. The climate applies as the best. Even if the mountain crown around the Golfo is dulled with clouds from the trade wind, at the Charco Azul the sun is shining. The proximity to the ocean guarantees a pleasant breeze. The house is connected with a gravel street to the road network. Keine Nachbarn, keine Geräusche außer von Meer und Wind, Blick auf einen beeindruckenden Sternenhimmel und kaum zehn Minuten zu Fuß über einen winzigen Pfad hinab zu einer der schönsten natürlichen Badestellen von Hierro. Wer dieses Haus geplant, gebaut und eingerichtet hat, der hat einen Blick für das Schöne und ein gutes Händchen für ästhetische Gestaltung. Es ist alles durchdacht, es fehlt an Nichts und man spürt sofort nach Betreten des Hauses, dass man sich wohlfühlen wird.Die Harmonie zwischen dem Bungalow selbst und den gepflegten Außenanlagen scheint uns einzigartig, da durch die allseitigen bodentiefen Panoramafenster die Grenzen zwischen drinnen und draußen verschwimmen. Ein Auto ist zwar unentbehrlich, aber es macht einen Riesenspaß, tagsüber damit über die abenteuerlichen Sträßchen zu brettern wohlwisssend, dass man nach einer turbulenten Tages-Exkursion am Abend an einen friedlichen Ort und in ein solch idyllisch gelegenes Haus zurückkehren kann. Getoppt wird das Ganze nur noch durch die sympathische, hilfsbereite Heidi, ihres Zeichens perfekte Verwalterin des schönen Anwesens, deren Empfang und Support wir als außergewöhnlich empfunden haben. ##### Peter H. Es liegt ganz alleine ohne störende Nachbarn oberhalb des Meeres. Von der Küstenstraße führt ein Schotterweg hinunter. Im Haus ist viel Platz, und es ist geschmackvoll eingerichtet. Durch die vielen bodentiefen Fensterflächen waren wir immer mit der Natur draußen verbunden. Wir hatten in unseren 10 Tagen verschiedenes Wetter: Auch bei Wind konnten wir stets mindestens eine der zehn Türen des Hauses öffnen, bei Windstille gab es praktisch keinen Unterschied mehr zwischen drinnen und draußen. Hinter dem Haus ist ein gemütliches, windgeschütztes überdachtes Plätzchen, wo wir viele unserer Abende verbracht haben. Morgens wurden wir oft von der Sonne in den Schlafzimmern geweckt und abends saßen wir im Wintergarten oder auf der Terrasse und schauten in den Sonnenuntergang. Auch die Außendusche mit warmem Wasser, die schon morgens in der Sonne stand war ein Genuss. Insgesamt ist es für uns mehr als ein Ferienhaus gewesen, wir fühlten uns eher zu Gast, durch das große private Bücherregal und die hervorragend ausgestattete Küche, in der wir oft und gerne gekocht haben. Die einzigen Geräusche, die wir gehört haben, waren der Wind, das Meer und die Gelbschnabel-Sturmtaucher mit ihrem nächtlichen Gesang. Keine erwachende Stadt und keine morgendliche Müllabfuhr durchbrachen unsere Ruhe. Vielen Dank für diesen wunderbaren Aufenthalt, wir kommen gerne wieder. ##### Marc M. Für uns ist dieses Haus das Beste. Die Lage und Aussicht sind einmalig. Dank den grossen Fensterfronten von jedem Zimmer aus. Der Vermieter hat es verstanden diesem Haus einen gescmackvollen persönlichen Flair zu lassen und gleichzeitig einen freien Raum für den Mieter zu bieten, wir haben uns wie zu Hause gefühlt. Es gibt um das Haus viele verschiedene geschützte Möglichkeiten um sich bei Sonne, aber auch bei Regen und Wind zu entspannen. Wir haben noch nie eine so bestens und praktisch eingerichtete Küche erlebt. Heid hat uns bestens begleitet und war jederzeit erreichbar. Sonnenterrasse mit Aussicht auf eindrückliche Sonnenuntergänge, Schattenterrasse, wenn es zu heiss wird, Wintergarten für windige Tage laden zum Erholen, Lesen und Geniessen ein. Das Haus liegt 5-10 Gehminuten vom Charco Azul, der nächste Badeort. Wir haben uns bestens erholt und unseren 8 Tage voll genossen. Gerne kommen wir zurück :-) ##### Roy S. Jul 16, 2023 Liked: Cleanliness, check-in, communication, location, listing accuracy #### Ein Traumhaus in wunderschöner Umgebung Dies war unsere erste Reise nach El Hierro, und mit diesem Haus haben wir den absoluten Glückgriff gelandet. Aus unserer Sicht ist dieses Haus mit Abstand das schönste in der Gegend. Die Lage ist wunderschön direkt an der Küste inmitten praktisch unberührter Natur und in absoluter Ruhe. Der Charco Azul ist nur einen kurzen Spaziergang von vielleicht 10-15 Minuten entfernt. Restaurants und Einkaufsgelegenheiten sind nur 5 Minuten mit dem Auto entfernt. Die Einrichtung ist sehr gemütlich und geschmackvoll und es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Wir haben uns vom ersten Augenblick an sehr wohlgefühlt. Der Blick auf das Meer ist umwerfend. Die Hausseite zum Meer hin ist fast durchgehend mit bodentiefen Fenstern und Terrassentüren ausgestattet, so dass man praktisch von fast jedem Raum des Hauses einen freien Blick auf das Meer genießen kann. Auch auf der überdachten Terrasse haben wir uns gerne aufgehalten. Insgesamt bietet dieses Haus sehr viel Platz. Der Garten ist sehr groß und wunderschön angelegt. Man spürt, dass dieses Haus mit viel Liebe zum Detail und zu diesem besonderen Ort eingerichtet und gepflegt ist. Hier steckt Herzblut drin. Es hat uns an nichts gefehlt. Aber insbesondere die sehr liebenswerte Heidi, die sich vor und während unseres Aufenthalts sehr gut um uns gekümmert hat, hat das Gesamtpaket perfekt abgerundet. Ihr gilt nochmals unser ganz besonderer Dank. Der Abschied ist uns schwer gefallen und wir hoffen sehr, dass wir bald wieder zurückkommen dürfen. ##### Wiebke S. Es ist kein typisches Ferienhaus mit Universalnutzungsfunktion sondern besitzt den Charme einer für unsere Bedürfnisse ideal eingerichteten Wohlfühloase. Geschmackvoll eingerichtet, liebevolle aber nicht erschlagende Details, eine beeindruckende Bibliothek, üppig ausgestattete Küche und durchdacht gebaut. Selbst bei Kalima über 40 Grad bleibt es im Wohnbereich deutlich kühler. Auch bei starkem Wind findet sich außerhalb immer eine geschützte Ecke. Die Lage ist definitiv als traumhaft zu bezeichnen. Im Haus das Atlantikpanorama und draußen ringsum ungestörte Ruhe. Ein wunderbarer Garten zum Hang lädt Vögeln dazu ein ihre Lieder zu trällern. Meeresbrise sorgt für Wellnesscharakter und zum Einkaufen oder anderen Aktivitäten ist es nicht weit. Ist dieses Paket an Annehmlichkeiten noch zu steigern? Definitiv JA! Und zwar das Housekeeping von der überaus hilfsbereiten, kompetenten, stets ansprechbaren und charmanten Heidi. Sie setzten dem gesamten Aufenthalt die Krone auf. Wir wurden abgeholt, liebevoll betreut und mit leckeren Willkommensgrüßen fühlten wir uns schnell super wohl. Die Zeit verging wie im Flug, Entspannung lies nicht lange auf sich warten. Wir haben uns wirklich verliebt: in die Insel und ganz besonders in dieses wundervolle Domizil. Wir hoffen, dass wir dort irgendwann nochmal sein können.
