Be aware, there is a cabin nearby and warnings on this rental that say, quiet from sunset to sunrise or the neighbors will call sheriff. Never was an issue for me, but dampened being able to sit outside and listen to a baseball game. Castiglia's does deliver, which was helpful (and minimized driving). Inside of cabin is cute. Only cooked breakfasts at the cabin. Everything provided for that meal was sufficient. A baking pan/sheet would be helpful but aluminum foil did the trick. We were on motorcycles, so a couple of notes for any other riders. Last two turns and final stretch are on gravel with some inclines and a few ruts. It is doable but you need to be cautious especially if you’re on a bigger bike (keep in mind, we are older and more cautious at this point in our lives). Definitely recommend that you do the first arrival during daylight and expect some gravel and debris on Blue Mountain Road if there’s been recent rain. The best part was the, veranda room as you get the most beautiful breakfast view in the morning with the sun and Forrest, the hot tub, Wi-Fi that worked really well, the Roku smart TV and the gas fireplace. I chose this location because it was close to a lot of the wineries that I wanted to visit for my birthday. We even had food delivered from the Italian Place and it was pretty good. I would definitely return to this location. The only thing I didn’t get a chance to do was utilize deer Lake which I would do in the future. My only recommendations to the owner would be to have little larger tables by the bed for devices and water, a lid or measuring cup for the chlorine(was missing), new and more ice trays for the freezer and to fix the deadbolt lock (it didn’t work). ##### Michelle H.
