Finsterbergen has little traffic and wonderful surroundings perfect for walks and hikes. The apartment was very spacious, super clean and tastefully decorated. We immediately felt like home. There is a large balcony overlooking the garden and a meadow. We had a designated parking spot which was convenient. The owner is very friendly and helpful, offered tips and even helped us decorate our hiking canes. We loved that we had a washer and dryer available, the strong Wifi signal and the friendly house kitty. We would love to come back one day. Zum dritten Mal hat es uns nun schon nach Finsterbergen gelockt, diesmal zum Jahreswechsel.Es hat uns, wie schon gewohnt, wieder mal an nichts gefehlt...bis auf ein paar Schneeflocken vielleicht. Alles war wieder tip top in Ordnung und seit unserem letzten Aufenthalt waren aus Teppichböden allergiefreundliche, moderne Beläge geworden. Und es gibt stets etwas Neues zu entdecken! Dieses Mal war es ganz in der Nähe ein wunderschöner Dinosaurier-Wanderpfad, der mit einer Thermoskanne Glühwein auch für Erwachsene spannend sein kann. Silvester haben wir gemeinsam mit unseren supernetten Vermietern gefeiert, dazu gab es Köstlichkeiten aus dem hauseigenen Backofen. Es war für uns wieder eine wunderschöne Auszeit und freuen uns schon auf das nächste Mal. Die Zimmer sind sauber, groß und schön hell. Auf dem Balkon kann man schon morgens die Sonne genießen. Ein Tisch bietet die Möglichkeit mit 4 Personen zu Essen. Die Küche hat alles was man so braucht. Das Bad hat eine Badewanne und eine Dusche es gibt ausreichend Platz um seine Utensilien unterzubringen. Es gibt zusätzlich ein extra WC. Das Schlafzimmer ist schön groß. Das Wohnzimmer hat einen großem Essbereich und eine große Couch und Flatscreen mit Internet TV. Alles zusammen eine sehr schöne Wohnung, die mit viel Liebe eingerichtet wurde. In der näheren Umgebung bietet sich Eisenach mit der Wartburg an. Die Drachenschlucht ist ein Durchwandern wert. In der anderen Richtung ist Erfurt über die A4 zügig zu erreichen. Auch Schmalkalden mit seinen Fachwerkstiel ist ein Besuch wert. Wir haben den Aufenthalt sehr genossen. ##### Anja L. Ein Bäcker und Fleischer sind im Ort. Weitere Einkaufsmöglichkeiten (z.B. Lidl und Edeka) sind schnell per Auto (ca. 3km) im nächsten Ort erreichbar. Besonders zu empfehlen sind Ausflüge zu weiteren Sehenswürdigkeiten Thüringens, wie zum Beispiel Erfurt oder die Wartburg. Auch Wandern kann man wunderbar in der Gegend. ##### Erika P. Jul 25, 2017 #### Traumhafter Urlaub im kleinen Domizil - ideale Basis um Thüringen zu genießen Die Ferienwohnung ist modern und mit viel Geschmack eingerichtet. Es gibt ein großes und ein kleines Badezimmer. Das Schlafzimmer ist groß genug um ein zusätzliches Bett für ein Baby oder Kleinkind unterzubringen. In der ganzen Wohnung finden sich ausreichend viele Schränke und Verstaumöglichkeiten. Im Flur gibt es neben dem Kinderzimmer eine extra Spieleecke für Kleinkinder mit Buntstiften und Bauklötzern. Waschmaschine und Trockner befinden sich im Keller. Das Wohnzimmer ist rießengroß und hell eingerichtet. Der Esstisch und das Sofa und bieten genügend Platz für 6 Personen. Der Balkon bietet einen wünderschönen Ausblick zum hauseigenen Park und in den umliegenden Wald. Auf dem Balkon kann man allerdings nur bequem mit 4 Personen draußen essen. Wenn man grillen möchte stellt der Vermieter den Grillplatz am eigenen Teich sowie den Grill und Holzkohle für einen fairen Preis von 10,- Euro zur Verfügung. In Finsterbergen selbst findet man 2 hervorragenede Metzger und einen tollen Bäcker und Konditor. Sehr liebevoll und besonders schön ist auch das Freibad mit Minigolfanlage und Kleinbahn. Von Finsterbergen aus erreicht man viele Sehenswürdigkeiten Thüringens innerhalb von 30min bis 45min. Es war für uns eine sehr schöne Ferienwoche. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Wir waren mit unser Tochter (6Monate) da und für sie war auch alles da was man braucht. Babyreisebett mit dicker Reisebettmatratze, Wickelrucksack mit Isoliertasche für Flaschen, Babybadewanne, Handtuchset und würde sie schon auf's Töpfchen gehen wäre auch das da gewesen. :-) Wir hatten eine Picknickdecke dabei und haben es uns im Garten, im Schatten der Bäume, gemütlich gemacht.
