Dallas. Hot Tub for 7, private filtered Lake for swimming, all King beds, memory foam mattresses, and SHEEX (the most supple sheets ever!) 65" FLAT SCREEN and 7 more in BR's. 3 baths, Large LR, dining table for 10+, piano, game room, pool table, ping pong, 2 wood stoves, washer/dryer, breakfast table, gourmet kitchen & kitchenette. Huge 2-story home, 30 ft soaring beamed ceilings. Elevated deck, gas BBQ and dining looks out at Mountains and water! The kitchen is large with a microwave and a professional Viking oven/range cooktop. There is in-kitchen dining and a large formal 10-person handcrafted table for larger sittings. A 400 sq ft elevated deck has a BBQ with outdoor teak furniture and seating for 8+. The deck looks outward toward the Strait of Juan de Fuca with views of Vancouver Island Canada and the Olympic Mountains with ships passing by. All Beds are KING size and an upper and lower bunk bed, and the Living Room has a pull-out sleeper sofa. There are two bathrooms upstairs with new (2019) neo-classical all-glass showers and there is one bathroom downstairs with a shower having steam, foot massage, light show, and blue tooth connectivity. The upstairs also has a large living room with cable TV and 65" flat screen and a piano. The views from the living room overlook the small lake and can have quite stunning sunsets and star-filled skies. There is a wood-burning stove and plenty of bookcases with reading lots of reading material. And board games too! WiFi (50Mbps - can watch HD streaming) and an iMac to use. Downstairs is a large game room with a pool table & ping pong table, a flat screen, wood-burning stove, leather seating, and a kitchenette with an eating bar. All rooms have individual climate control with ductless mini-split systems (7) throughout. Air conditioning, heating, and air purification are all possible. The property has both manicured and woodsy natural areas. There are giant old and new growth trees all around. This is super private and super beautiful. This is a 20-acre property that is strictly NON-SMOKING everywhere. Please don't book here if anyone is a smoker. The owner lives next door and loves guests and kids. One small dog will be considered. Prior approval is required. Need to know the breed, size, gender, temperament, and most of all, is it housebroken? Max 50 LB 2021 Hot Tub for 8\. All bedrooms are now KING SIZE beds with super comfy memory foam mattresses and all have SHEEX brand sheets (the most supple bedding ever!). We stayed here for a week with our kids and young grandkids. The house was perfect for accommodating everyone yet allowing everyone some personal space. Great spaces for interacting over family dinners, out on the deck or out on the grounds. The lake and kayak were a hit with our 3-year old granddaughter. Our dog loved roaming the grounds, but was contained by the deer fencing. The house was very nicely appointed and well provisioned. A short drive to beaches at Lime Kiln and Co Park. Gramma Rikki was helpful on check-in and available with suggestions for activities. Definitely a place we would consider returning to in the future. ##### Walter M. The pond was so fun for kids to kayak, swim and paddle in. The beds were incredibly comfortable so all slept well. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed. Our host, Gramma Rikki, is a gracious, friendly and a multi-talented person. She was very communicative from the time we reserved and all during our stay. Her property is beautiful and well maintained. Two of our family members spent a lot of days biking and hiking. The only difficulties we encountered were getting ferry reservations for the times that worked best for our travel schedule. Recommendation: call or get online as soon as you book your stay at Gr. The youngest kids enjoyed the pond-like pool. Adults and older kids had fun playing pool. This was a wonderful place to spend a few days away from it all with our family of eight, 6 adults and 2 grandchildren. Our grandsons took to the playground as soon as we arrived and visited it often throughout our stay. The filtered lake was enjoyed by most of the gang, swimming and paddle boarding. There was also badminton, and corn hole. The home is uniquely designed with a homey, comfortable atmosphere. We enjoyed the pool table and the grandkids had fun with the toys that were there. This was our first visit to San Juan Island so we explored quite a bit, but otherwise, we could have been perfectly happy just staying on the grounds the whole time. Gramma Rikki was a great host. It seemed pricey at first but was well worth it. We were very happy with our decision to stay here. ##### Gary M. Better than shown in pictures/words. The house was spotless, rich with character, and every room was gorgeous. The entire place was so beautiful and grand. Organized, labeled for ease and everything that may be needed for a fantastic vacation was at our fingertips! Plenty of towels, water toys, were available for our use. The pond added hours of fun for our group, and we enjoyed the wonderful, clean, bubbly hot tub! The space was perfect for our group, we all had plenty of room. The property is spacious and no attention to detail was spared. Contact with the owner was seamless, quick, and friendly but never intrusive. All of the amenities were in great shape. The kids adored the playground, lake, and trampoline and we all loved the super comfy beds. A truly wonderful experience and we would love to return! 10/10 would recommend. ##### Jennifer A. We had a large family gathering as as a 'bucket list' trip for my Mom. The house was perfect, with large bedrooms to accommodate many adults, and a gate at the top of the stairs to keep the toddler out of trouble. The property is serene and quiet. The house is amazing and the kitchen is well stocked with pantry items. We needed nothing. The host was accessible and so helpful and gracious with our requests. ##### Amber C.
