Stayed in an overwater bungalow. Staff was superb! Be prepared for sticker shock at the restaurants. A beer is $15, most entrees start at $40\. We were disappointed that you get charged an extra $14 for room service, making our order of a pizza and two beers over $100\. Yikes! We do have the money, yes. But when you’re already paying over $2000 per night, it feels like gambling gauging. Also, no breakfast options other than the $50 buffet. Overall, it’s been wonderful. Had a banana tree right outside our door which set the right vibe. Everything was immaculate and well maintained. On-site restaurant with good food and reasonably priced for the area. Breakfast was included which was very good. Private beach, well maintained, good for snorkling and swimming in the lagoon. Overall, the Hotel Royal Bora Bora is a great value and has the near perfect vibe for a Bora Bora getaway. I would highly recommend.
