"We loved our stay at this pension! A prime location and Sabbas happily took us around wherever we needed to go. The breakfast is simple but the dinners are delicious! A great place to really get involved in the local community! Stay here to be close to the bay and Tu Hiva. The mornings the fishermen are out, go to the dock and you’ll be able to see so many sharks being fed! Amazing!"

"We had a wonderful time! The property is tucked in the mountain range with a breathtaking view. The house is decorated with heart and style. Mostly importantly, host Maxim and Agathe are exceptional! They prepared fresh and delicious breakfast daily at the time of our request, rented us snorkel gears, played with our 6-year old daughter, ordered us pizza delivery (due to our poor French!) and we shared great conversations. "We enjoyed our stay here. The service was excellent overall. We were welcomed on arrival and given a tour. The bellmen were attentive and kind. The front desk from the overnight staff to the general manager were all helpful and accomodating. The bar restaurant had great food and drinks as did the main. We stayed over-water and the bungalows were immaculately kept and really stunning. If I had anything to improve upon it would be the poolside/beach service. It was confusing how to get drink service there. We saw other people getting drinks but we were never asked."

"From the time we arrived to our departure, the attention to detail on how everything was organized and planned by resort staff was what stood out. Rooms were super clean, the grounds were immaculate, and staff did everything they could to accommodate and assist. We stayed over Christmas, and the resort had Santa arrive on a boat to deliver presents to the kids on the beach which was a great time. Thanks again Intercontinental! "

"Cook’s Bay is one of the most wonderful places we’ve ever stayed, and we’ve stayed at many fantastic places around the world. The staff was amazingly nice. The rooms were spotless. The beds were very comfortable. The air-conditioning worked. The showers were hot. The towels were first class. Most important for us was the amazing snorkeling right off the edge of the property and the amazing views of the beautiful mountains of Moorea. We saw sharks, turtles and rays along the beautiful coral reef that drops down like a cliff just off the water’s edge. The water was unbelievably clear and blue. The swimming pool was perfect. My only hesitation in writing this review is that it will encourage more people to go there when I would love for this to remain a secret."
