This house has such a beautiful view! We found ourselves just wanting to stay in and be cozy on the couch or at the table with a puzzle. It felt like we were staying at a relatives house, they had everything you could need and then some.

We chose this place for the location and it was fabulous. I wanted to be close the water for the kids to play and was pleasantly surprised by the nearby park. The home and furnishings are older but comfortable. The host was very responsive when I had questions and the initial booking needed changing. Although overall I would say the place was clean, more attention could be paid to detailed cleaning and some torn/tattered linens should be replaced.

Charming, on the beach house

This was perfect place for my dog and I to escape. Charming and cosy, very easy to relax and enjoy the excellent view of the water. Excellent communications with the owner. Will be planning more escapes to this wonderful place in the future.

The Perfect, Simple Getaway

This charming home is located right on the water, with the sounds of the waves capturing our hearts right away. There was plenty of space for the family and enough extras, like the piano, games and puzzles, to make it easy to cozy up on the comfy couch or sit on the back deck watching the wildlife and waves. We will definitely be coming back!

Lovely Little House!

This house is a great location, right on the water and pet friendly! We walked our dog around the neighborhood a few times and she loved it. The location was really great and central, just a few blocks from the grocery store and coffee shops. The owners were great at communicating everything for check-in and provided everything we would need for the stay, including plenty of towels, blankets, and space heaters in every room, which was a nice touch for the winter month. I would definitely stay here again.

We had a wonderful long weekend at the beach house. So comfortable and stocked with everything we needed. We stayed cozy with the wood stove (with an ample supply of seasoned firewood...thank you) and an amazing view down the bay. Enjoyed our beach walks and close proximity to the neighborhood park. Great location, close to groceries & restaurants in Freeland, and just a short drive to Double Bluff, Bayview and Langley. Great communication with our host, Jess. Hope we get to return in warmer weather & get some kayaking time on the tranquil water. Thank you for sharing your beach house with us!

Amazing getaway in middle of winter

Jess' place is so great, very homey, can't wait to come back in summer/fall season to experience the inviting fire pit and SUP. Kitchen is fully stocked with everything you need, spice and appliance wise, as well as accessories. Jess is great at communicating and super prompt to take care of anything that comes up. I highly recommend this place for families, plenty of rooms and beds to spread out in. Also, if you have a toddler/baby, great house. Has a lot of entertainment for kids and some kids books and toys. Overall, highly recommended and we will be back :)

Jess, the owner was wonderful! Her first message to us that we could check in as early as we wanted and check out Anytime. What a wonderful Christmas present to us . Thank you Jess! The house was warm( wood stove) quiet and the most beautiful view. A nice beach in front where you could walk all the way to the park if the tide was low enough.the bed was absolutely the most comfy bed I have ever slept in. The kitchen fully stocked . Very cozy and comfortable, bonus that they had nightlights and lots of reading lamps. Kitchen well equipped, bed was very comfortable as was the living room furniture . Also liked that there were 2 tables, one to eat at and the other for games or puzzles. It was very warm and inviting with lots of their personal collections that made it welcoming, like you were staying at one of your family members place. There was a perfect outdoor space but we didn't get to use it because of inclement weather, lots of water toys, like kayaks, etc.Would go back if possible.

The house is older and lived in as would be expected of a place that allows dogs. The location is awesome, right on the water. The host gave great directions, the only thing I would add is to say that the house is yellow because it is a little bit difficult to find.The air conditioning unit was not working right and the host was very attentive to try to get it working correctly. I can’t say enough nice things about the host, Jess. She was very personable and wonderful to work with.

This was a very comfortable, low-key beach house. It poured rain most of the time we were there, but we fit in a walk on the beach and a trip into Langley for lunch. It was great to be able to bring our dog, too.

Wonderful West Coast Home

My family and I had a great stay at Jessica’s place. The home is lovely and location is beautiful. A wonderful getaway

We had such a relaxing stay on Baby Beach :) It was perfect for me, my husband and our toddler with loads of family friendly activities around the island, but also just the right amount of space in the home. The views were spectacular and the home had everything we needed for a comfortable visit. We especially loved the fireplace and the kayaks, as well as the park for our little one that was in walking distance! Will definitely be back!

Charming home with beautiful views!

We rented this house for Christmas weekend. All of us were comfortable and so taken with the views from the giant bay windows. We were graced by a whale pod a couple of times during our stay to make it all the more magical. 10/10 will be back!
