"It was super hot when I stayed and there was only a fan, that didn't quite cut it - but as the area is nice an quiet I could keep the window open. The breakfast was phenomenal over the weekend but dropped somewhat during the week, it was still very nice but not spectacular. There are taps throughout the hotel with cold water - sparkling and still as well as two different top shelf cordials - that was my highlight along with the stunning view over the water from the many different terrasses."

"Great location steps from the palace. Room was clean and comfortable but old. Breakfast was excellent and we had dinner in the bistro as we arrived late and that was excellent. Staff were friendly and helpful."
