Such a stunning unique place. The ‘wee house’ was just what we hoped it would be -cosy, warm, safe and everything you need. Set in such a picturesque spot and close to other stunning bays as well. The view out several windows is better than you could dream of!
Really enjoyed our stay at Wee House in Pennan - such a beautiful place. Whether you're staying local or going off to explore the area, coming back to the house is just lovely. So lovely to relax in the evening with a fire going and then wake up to the sound of the waves. It's honestly such a gem xxxxx
Truly one of the best places we've ever stayed. The cottage is extremely cozy and Kate thought of everything to make it so you don't want or have to leave. Pennan is the place to stay if you're looking for peace and quiet. Simply a wonderful experience all around.
A lovely cottage in the middle of Pennan. Well equipped and the woodturning stove was ideal. Lots to see and do in the area, so it's a perfect base and quiet at night so you can listen to the sound of the waves.
This little seaside property is the perfect place for relaxing. Well equipped, cozy and comfortable. It offers both a place to hide away from the world in this quaint village nestled against a cliff at the foot of the sea and a great location to drive out from to discover many attractions. The host is responsive, friendly and helpful.
Wee Cottage was perfect in so many ways. Right by the sea, views from most windows, just the right size for a couple, cosy and homey and a great base to explore other nearby coves and villages. Great for getting out and about or great for snuggling on the sofa in front of the log burner.
We didn't have a single complaint, in fact we didn't want to leave!
The village Pennan and the house itself were the perfect location for our longed for recreation. We loved the space in the house - 3 levels all for us two! Waking up with a view to the sea was amazing! Everything was exactly as shown in the pictures.
Everything about the town and cottage is so special and amazing. The cottage was so warm and homely with everything you could need. Kate made sure we were looked after and all ok. Even though the weather kept us in town, the local people were so friendly and welcoming. We absolutely loved our time and will be back again.
We loved that property, it is right on the shoreline, and is so quirky and comfortable. It is really well situated and very well laid out. I loved the 3 floors layout, fabulous wee nook for relaxing and watching the sea on 3rd floor. The wood burning fire was amazing and so cosy when you enter the property. Bedroom and bathroom are on the 2nd floor. If ur really tall the headroom may be an issue, but we loved it and will definitely return.
We thoroughly enjoyed our Christmas Break at No' 33. The most amazing view of the tumbulant seas from the property The peace and quiet is just what we wanted. Everything we needed was provided for including a few Christmas pieces. We are sure the sounds and smells of the sea will draw us back again soon
Fabulous little place with everything you could want for a short holiday - Kate is lovely and very friendly.
Fabulous little ‘Cuppy’ down by the Harbour with a fabulous lady who serves cake and coffee etc. together with a wealth of knowledge on the area.
Altogether one of the friendliest little spots I have ever spent time in. We will be going back - next time for longer :-) . Fab fab fab :-).
Drive up from Surrey looking for a break in a quiet and peaceful location - this was the perfect respite and everything we expected and more. Location is ideal, the constant sound of the ocean at our door step, not at all crowded, great and comfortable set up. Bed is very comfortable and the unit has all the needed amenities. There are only two business in town - a tea shack and a hotel. The limited businesses means very little foot traffic which keeps Pennan quiet and peaceful.
Picturesque small fishing village. It is a lovely cozy small house. Kate had thoughtfully prepared the fire for us, it was a particularly cold stormy summers day. However the weather added to its ambiance. Everything two people might want is there, even down to an ice cream scoop. Upstairs is a large bed with extremely comfotable bedding.. Theres a wardrobe for hanging cothes plus room for two 25 inch suitcases on the flloor.Kate is a lovely host. Thank you.
The property is small but perfect for a couple. Having the room at the top of the house is a bonus although the stairs are not suitable for the elderly I would say. It is well equipped with lovely welcome touches (flowers, biscuits, milk as well as many some basics like salt, pepper, teabags, bin bags, washing powder, dishwasher tablets...so much more than a lot of places we have stayed. Only thing we would have asked for was a few more pegs to hang out washing and a couple more pots as we are keen cooks. All in all a truly lovely property.
What an amazing weekend away with my partner. This was a valentines gift from my wonderful fiancé and was just what we needed. Would definitely have stayed longer if it wasn’t for the joys of having to go back to work .
We stayed for 2 nights and was just what we needed. The cottage was just beautiful and the scenery was breath taking. I absolutely love the sea and having it on the doorstep and waking up to the waves was jus at amazing. I actually have no words to be honest. We used one of the booklets that was on hand in the cottage to go and visit a few places ( we will remember next time to bring wellies lol) a lot of Scottish history and breathtaking scenery. There was a few things we didn’t manage to fit in but we will defo be back to visit other places.
Our host Kate was always on hand if we needed to ask anything and has made sure the wee house has everything you can ask for. Thank you for an amazing stay Kate..: only downfall was having to come home back to reality
This was the most beautiful spot. The beach and views are incredible. The house was charming, comfortable, clean, well stocked. The fireplace was perfect as were the fun boardgames and movies. Absolutely loved everything here.
