It is in a peaceful location and there wasn't anything that we needed that wasn't provided...even for our dogs. The beds and linens were very comfortable and the kitchen was well equipped. The problems are not much lighting and what it does have is mainly overhead. Add some lamps. There is ZERO light over the stove which makes it hard to cook when it is dark outside. It also needs more seating. Only 1 couch and 1 chair. It also needs a covered outdoor area for light rain but you still want to be outside. We had everything we needed to relax and enjoy time together: modern kitchen entities for home cooked meals with a beautiful and relaxing outdoor space that included plenty of comfortable seating, gas grill, lighted patio with a firepit and a covered hammock and swing area with a smoker. When we were ready to venture out, we had our choice of two nearby towns, trails and abundant scenery.
