Red Roof Inn & Suites Herkimer

"We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Herkimer Red Roof. This was my second time staying at the property, and my fellow travelers first. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and the grandkids LOVED the outdoor pool and had a blast! Only one minor downside, and its NOT the Red Roof's fault. It had been a couple of years since my last stay here, and since that time the Denny's next door closed hahaha. I would highly recommend this property for a one night stay, or even an extended one. Thank you!"

Best Western Cooperstown Inn & Suites

"My husband and I had a very nice stay for 3 nights while we explored the surrounding areas. What stood out the most to us was the staff. Staff is what makes or breaks a place and we were absolutely blown away by how polite and professional each staff member we interacted with was. The first night we noticed the shampoo dispenser was empty and that the tub drained quite slowly. We had brought shampoo so no big deal there. What blew us away was the prompt service to fix it the next day. We went to the front desk to explain the issue and when we got back to the room it wasn't even 10 minutes later that someone was there with shampoo. We were getting ready to leave for the day but the gentleman who came with the shampoo promised to come back to fix the shower drain. The drain was 100% fixed when we showered again that evening. We enjoyed the provided breakfast each morning before we headed out each day. We liked that the location was perfect for everything we had planned for our short trip. We got to explore Herkimer Diamond Mines, Howe Caverns, Glimmerglass State Park, many hiking trails, and of course enjoyed exploring Cooperstown. All in all we throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely return to Best Western in Cooperstown and elsewhere."

"Spectacular interior spaces and super friendly owner. The interior is filled with incredible woodwork, especially grand staircase. Our suite was large and comfortable. Books everywhere to read. Great amount of satisfying choices for breakfast. We were pleasantly stuffed afterwards. Close to several restaurants. We were biking the Erie Canal Trail from Syracuse to Amsterdam NY and it was very convenient, close to trail and owner insisted on having our bikes inside. Loved it!!!"
