It was a little wierd that when we arrived, there was a random guy sort of milling around and working on a new gazebo on the property, but he stayed so long I finally contacted the owner and they in turn reached out to this handyman who left after 3 hours. The WiFi worked very sporadically the first 3-4 hours, but eventually it seemed to improve. Overall, great location to stop over on our way from PDX to Port Angeles to catch the ferry.
The house was very clean and the beds were comfortable. I will say it’s by the main road so you do hear the cars driving by. Close to Forks and the rainforest and beaches. Overall it was a good stay
Amar was a great host. The home was beautiful and was in a great location for trips to the Hoh rainforest, Ruby beach, and Rialto beach. It is very secluded and even though there was no cell service with Verizon the Starlink WiFi worked great. The host left things like condiments and snacks for us which was nice, and was easy to get ahold of if we needed them. 10/10 awesome place to stay near Forks!
The property was fine, but it’s by no means the level of luxury that the photos convey. The building was clearly made by amateurs and there are signs of cut corners everywhere (look at the bathroom fixtures, floorboards, etc). The appliances are nice and new, but the furniture is as cheap as can be. The couches are plywood and uncomfortable for extended viewing, the TV is cheap and lacking a soundbar, the beds are cheap and flimsy with poor quality mattresses/linens/comforters, etc. In addition, the property is in close proximity to the main road and any outdoors time will include plenty of road noise. That being said, it’s serviceable. It’s a decent size for the cost. The kitchen is capable, though lacking serving dishes and cooking spices. The best part about it is the proximity to the Hoh portion of the park and neighboring Forks amenities.
