"Lovely cabin with a gorgeous view of the mountains. The interior was spotless and beautifully decorated. We enjoyed watching the deer graze in the back yard and stargazing at night. The hosts were easily accessible by phone or text and very pleasant to work with. We drove to several overlooks to enjoy the mountain and river views. We also walked around the Springs and bath houses down town. There is a great antique store across from the museum that we enjoyed perusing. We ate breakfast at the cabin but enjoyed two excellent dinners at The Family Fork restaurant. On the way home, we stopped at the Fairfax Coffee House for a breakfast sandwich and quiche. Yum! Overall our visit was very enjoyable. Our thanks to the hosts for sharing such a wonderful place to stay. It made our visit to West Virginia extra special!"

"My husband and I had a wonderful, relaxing weekend at this rustic cabin. It was so peaceful and very secluded. The home is built on the side of the mountain. You literally look up or down the mountain as you stand in the driveway. It seemed too steep to try hiking right from the property. I wouldn't recommend more than two adults; it is a small space. The bed we used was a cabinet type hide-a-bed which opened up on the floor of the room; it was fairly comfortable. We had packed food to use while we were there; I was surprised that the refrigerator is only a mini refrigerator, like in a hotel. We had a hard time fitting our cold food into it. Thankfully we checked in before going to the grocery store (which is only a few minutes away) so we didn't buy anything besides creamer to add to the refrigerator. We had packed homemade soup along but couldn't find any bowls, so we made do by using the coffee mugs. It's a cute little place and well kept. The hosts sent great instructions for finding the house. If you're looking for solitude, this is a great spot."
