"The location was excellent. The rooms too small. We stayed 4 nights and the cleaning was not good since they only change towels and not clean the wood/tile floor. The breakfast was fantastic"

"Convenient to the pier for our cruise (walking distance even dragging our luggage), convenient to the entire downtown of Bergen, quiet, comfortable, and with a delicious breakfast buffet. Plus a room to leave our luggage in when we arrived before check in time, so we could drop it there and go explore the city. We were very happy with our stay. One thing to note, there are separate buildings to the hotel, and some may be more modern than others."

"Amazing hotel in a great location. The only issue we had with the place was a) the beds were too hard for our preference (we mitigated by bringing our own bedding up) and b) difficulty accessing the parking in the building next door. This could have been fixed by turning on the side access to the building, to avoid guests having to carry luggage down several flights of outside steps just to get to the reception."

"Very clean and first class hotel. Breakfast wonderful. I did notice a lot of night time noise from music or other activities outside the hotel nearby. The noise did not bother me but it might others. Very convenient location to walking to the city sights. My disappointment was no available parking in the garage so I needed to park in the city garage less than a 10 minute walk away so that worked and I did feel safe but would have liked to be able to park in the garage. People should know very limited parking onsite but I had researched and knew available parking nearby. To Expedia I did make an error and thought I was reviewing this hotel when I commented on the parking and included that in my review of the Scandic Stavanger City Hotel. They also had limited parking but I did get a space. Would like to correct that."
