The old mill by Fiskars River in Fiskars Village, Raasepori, Finland. The mill was built of slag brick in 1898 at the site of a former mill. It was in use until the 1950s.

Interesting hotel as it was in an old mill town. we had a second level room- with a bridge access. Room got hot at night and could not figure out how to open the windows but it did have a nice fan. Nice breakfast- had a restaurant and bar in adjacent building, but since we were only one night did ...

The check in process was a breeze and the whole complex was terrific. It made the stay relaxing and filled with activities for both children and adults. The sauna followed by a plunge in the lake was the biggest hit, for both children and adults! A true Finnish experience in nature!
