We only saw one personnel as a staff and she handled everything from reception to breakfast. There was only one other couple during our stay and this created quite odd feeling. It was fantastic! Nicky was an excellent host. Our room had both a private sauna and a private hot tub. We did not use the hot tub, but found the sauna delightful, clean, and plenty hot! The room was functional, clean, and had a small fridge and a kettle for heating water. The bed was comfortable and, as we visited in February, it was very warm and cozy. Good sound insulation- very little noise from inside out outside the hotel (despite being immediately overlooking the airport - fantastic view). Staff were really helpful and friendly, and the breakfast (served at the hotel next door) was great (broad selection of continental breakfast items in a really beautiful dining room). Breakfast was served from 4am, so ideal for early flights. Hotel is really close to arrivals and departures, just 1 min walk indoors. Would definitely stay again. Close to everything, shops, food, ice skating rink in city center, and The Angry Birds park (haha) the kids loved going there and sledding down the hill! Also the buffet breakfast was phenomenal. The best I’ve ever had. Such a delicious selection of foods and most of it gluten free! Rovaniemi was such a safe haven for being celiac. Rooms were lovely and nicely cleaned. Shower was on the small side but I didn’t mind. Would recommend!"
