Belle House offers everything you need for your perfect seaside getaway, with a great selection of shops, café’s and restaurants on the doorstep and free allocated parking included. The apartment is open plan, offering a bright, spacious and airy living, dining and kitchen space. With a wall mounted flat screen TV, comfy sofas, and a selection of board games, the living area is perfect for relaxed family fun after a day at the beach. The kitchen is stylish and excellently equipped, providing a full oven, hob, fridge-freezer, dishwasher, washer-dryer, microwave kettle and toaster, and even a Nespresso machine, for that perfect morning coffee whilst you make plans for the day. The master bedroom has lovely decor, with a king-size bed, plenty of storage and thoughtful touches like a hairdryer, clock radio and hangers in the wardrobe. There is an en-suite shower room with mains shower, basin, toilet and heated towel rail. In the second bedroom, there is ample space with two full size single beds which can be zip-linked together to make a super-king bed should it be required. The main family bathroom is very smart and contemporary, with a bath with shower over, toilet, basin, heated towel rail and a back-lit mirror to give a real luxury feel. Whilst the seaside town of Filey is famous for a great day at the beach, there are various other attractions in the local area that will leave you spoilt for choice with where to explore first. Glen Gardens is within easy walking distance less than a mile away, and offers beautiful parkland and gardens to explore, adventure golf and stunning views out over the coast. If you take your golf a little more seriously, Filey Golf Club is very nearby, just a little further on from Glen Gardens. For those wanting to immerse themselves in nature, why not make your way down to the Flamborough Headland Heritage Coast for a spot of spectacular bird watching at the Bempton Cliffs. An established nesting spot from March – October, over 200,000 Puffins, Gannets, Kittiwakes and Guillemots take to the ledges of the white chalk cliffs almost 400ft up from sea level. The larger town of Scarborough is also only roughly a 20 minute drive away and offers lots more to see and do. You can visiting the famous Rotunda Museum, a beautiful building housing unusual and interesting artefacts, or take a tour around Scarborough Castle, a mediaeval stronghold now looked after by English Heritage, with a busy calendar of live events throughout the year. Apt 4 is on the 2nd floor, & the 35 steps can be a challenge but well worth the effort. Highly recommend this apt. Great apartment in a fantastic location. I agree with the other reviewer about the entertainment system. Also, in our case there were no dishwasher tablets, we had to purchase them ourselves. The washing machine had foul water so we drained it and were able to use it twice. Bin liners were not provided either. It's a shame, those details cost them a perfect score from me, hence only 4 stars. The flat itself is lovely, better than in the photos. Location is excellent at just 5 mins walk from the beach. Parking is off-street and allocated so no worries on that front. Also, the beds are cozy and the flat is spacious. Both bathrooms have powerful showers. We enjoyed our week in Filey, it's a lovely town with very friendly people. If we ever return I would book this flat again. I recommend The Lighthouse Tearoom for lovely cakes, the First Catch fish & chips if you have gluten intolerance like myself. Overton Butchers for lovely pies and ham and sausages, etc. ##### Karina Séjour de 8 nuits en octobre 2021 ### 8/10 – Bien #### Ronald K. 24 sept. 2021 Points forts : Propreté #### Alright but The property was very nice but we struggled with the entertainment system ( was very hi tech and poor instructions, no dishwasher tablets, we were told the washing machine was faulty which wasn’t a problem but didn’t expect it to be full of foul water.
