You will have access to miles of hiking trails, mountain streams, stocked fishing pond, community swimming pool, play ground and tennis courts, creek tubing (seasonal), on-site restaurant with active live music & event calendar (guest advised to check hours when planning meals). Leatherwood Mountains has surveillance or recording devices on the property. Our neighborhood is very safe and our property very secluded. When I arrived it was so clean, smelled amazing, was decorated for Christmas. As I walked around and saw the amazing view and ginormous hot tub I felt like I was in the beginning of a hallmark movie. It was just me and my BFF with the husbands and kids left at home so any man candy would have just improved the view, but no movie worthy relationships would have blossomed. We enjoyed our time at Sunset Ridge and Leatherwood Mountains. This cabin is pristine, warm and inviting. The view from the deck is spectacular. We took advantage of the trail rides and hiking on the resort property, and the owners were kind enough to let us use the outdoor fire pit at the restaurant with our friends. If you’re planning to visit Boone and Blowing Rock build in a hour travel time. ##### Monica S. Made a trip to Boone, Grandfather Mtn and Blowing Rock. Drove on the Blue Ridge Parkway. All in all, we had a very nice 'birthday' weekend. Home is beautiful. We used the hot tub every night.
