We checked in, was given all accomodations which included a map, all numbers that may be needed, keys and passcodes for access. We then took a drive up 3 miles to a mountain lovers dream spot. We had all the views of the spectacular blue ridge mountains; inside and out. I found it to be clean and well kept. It was exactly what was needed. I chose this home for my wife and I, for our 1 year wedding anniversary. I cannot stress enough, just how amazing this location is! I am a business owner, and my wife works all week as well, so our life is pretty hectic most times. Our stay was a short one, so we spent most of our time there at the house, just enjoying the peace and tranquility of it all. The views there are breath taking, and the stillness is very peaceful. My wife and I both attend our church regularly, and I read, and study my Bible every day. I am considering becoming a pastor in the near future, as well as running my business. Sitting outside with my morning coffee, and reading God's word, while taking in the beauty and tranquility of it all, was beyond description! The home is very well kept, and maintained, and was very comfortable, and feels like home, from the moment that you step in the front door. The community is very well maintained, and peaceful as well. The staff at check in were very friendly, and happy to help in any way they could. The home has everything that you could need for your visit. Do bring any food Items and other necessities for cooking your meals, as the other reviews have stated. The nearest grocery stores are a pretty good ride away. We knew this going into our trip, and expected it, so we were prepared. It was our intention to get as far away from the every day hustle and bustle as possible.
