Really nice hotel, seems recently refurbished. The bed was very comfortable. We would have appreciated a kettle for hot drinks besides coffee, but this is not often provided in hotels outside the UK. The location of the hotel is perfect for restaurants and the ferry port.

Great location with nicely maintained grounds and amenities. The breakfast buffet was plentiful but pretty basic. All that said, the hotel is in need to renovation - it’s old and tired looking. The floors, trim, elevators, furniture and fixtures are quite shabby. Don’t think it was quite worth the money.
