The nice thing about this property was the location and the size of the room/suite. I appreciate having a living area separate from the bed. The facility was also pretty quiet. That said there were several things that made the room conditions less than perfect. The curtain was ripped, the door frame of the closet was coming off, the picture frame in the bathroom was damaged to show bare wood, and finally there was a very visible handprint on the headboard. If I could see it and it shows up in photos, then the cleaning staff should be able to see it as well. Some quick fixes could easily enhance the state of the room. Hopefully management will take these into consideration. (Room 318)

I absolutely LOVE Hyatt southpoint! It’s my go to when visiting my son who’s in college in NC. I’m not too close to campus and not too far. The mall is nearby and so are a lot of great dining options. The staff there is AMAZING! They are always kind & so accommodating to me! I appreciate this Hyatt it feels like HOME

It is great value for this price

My overall stay with my fiancé was very nice. The hotel was clean, the staff was very friendly and helpful, the amenities like breakfast and an onsite bar were great. My only two negative experiences were upon entering our room, we noticed that we had no tv guide, and a non-working remote. The remote was set up where we could not change channels with it. Only turn on the TV and change the volume. Secondly, there was no Do Not Disturb sign for us to use. Our stay was only for two nights and both days housecleaning was an issue. They came first without us knowing while we were out and messed with our belongings. Then they came a second time, while we were asleep in the room. This felt like too much for a two night stay. Otherwise, this was a wonderful place to stay and we would definitely stay here again.

Clean comfortable room. AM coffee and continental breakfast was good. Bananas and yogurt and was available
