I was excited to stay at the Richardson, but unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. Upon arrival, the front desk staff seemed unsure about basic hotel operations and were unable to provide clear information. The biggest issue occurred around 11:30 PM when the fire alarm went off, forcing guests to evacuate. There was no staff guidance on where to go, what was happening, or what guests should expect. To make matters worse, the alarm continued for nearly an hour before it was finally shut off. The following morning, there was no one at the front desk when I needed assistance during checkout and departure. I understand that emergencies happen, but the lack of communication, organization, and guest support throughout the experience was frustrating. Given the reputation and price point of the property, I expected a much higher level of service.

The owners take great pride in what they've created, and they are focused on your enjoyment of the property. From the curated 3-course breakfast, to helpful recommendations on what to see and where to eat! They even have a speakeasy in the basement where you can get a cocktail!
