Renovations last year hardly noticeable. Mattress without a box spring? Come on. Just put the mattress on the floor. Slight mold in the shower area. Breakfast was cold every day. Attendant just spent time on the phone while the trash cans overflowed. First hot cup of coffee during our 5 night stay or any time during the day was day 4 at McDonalds. Trash in the entry way and elevator. A Marriott facility? I think not. Good towels and hot shower water however. Safe area.

Well when we first arrived the hotel was outdated and musty feeling. The attendant at the front desk was rude to us. Didn’t give us any directions on where our room was and this hotel is a maze not a standard hotel. The swimming pool was GREEN! But ok to swim in staff said so. No thank you! Finally found the room after being so turned around to discover dirty towels, dusty room, a loose tile in the bathroom floor (almost fell) and mold on the bathroom ceiling and the wrong room! Was down graded and not even told. Tried to ask front desk what happened and they said there was nothing they could do. They had no rooms available. When I booked this room days in advance. Then to top it off BED BUGS! Immediately checked out and left. Got stuck driving 2 hours! To next available hotel and this was at 1 in the morning! The entire town and surrounding towns sold out :( Do NOT recommend this hotel! Stay away if you can. Positive note was refunded for room but not taxes go figure.

Appears to be a stop over for local workers that come to the area. Not sure whether it was system errors or inexperienced staff, but prepayments were not initially credited and the problem appeared to continue throughout the four day stay. I believe the building used to be a Howard Johnson Inn and motel that's been renovated somewhat as a Holiday Inn presently and all Holiday Inns are not created equal.
