The staff in the office and restaurant were very friendly and helpful. The lodge is right off of 62, so it was really convenient to get in and out of, and there's a gas station and convenience store right next door. I ate at the onsite restaurant my first night there and had the pickle pizza, which had house-made pickles. It was sooo good. The staff was great, the bar was fun and had great food. The buildings should be razed they are so old. Paint is peeling inside & outside, wood trim should be replaced, old door locks are only 1/2 removed. It’s a dump. Long term renters doing brake jobs on vehicle in parking lot. What a mess. Restaurant and bar right there which were great . I’d give it 5 stars except the air conditioning in the room rattled and was loud every time it came on . It was a bit pricey but compared to other lodges in the area it was reasonably priced .
