The view of the bay from the dock was great. It was very nice to have access to paddle boards and kayaks and communal areas. We loved using all three. Cottage is very convenient to the bay, beach and local restaurants. The property is very well-maintained and not only was the cottage exceptionally clean, so was the entirety of the property. We especially enjoyed the woodsy property and getting to see the tortoises feed every morning! They are not provided. Not a great biking area so I wouldn’t recommend bringing bikes. The owner uses a 3rd party billing company so if you book through VRBO or Expedia, don’t panic if your credit card company notifies you of a fraud alert from a company you don’t recognize and a dollar amount you didn’t submit. After 2 days of being inconvenienced and feeling ill from the mold, the management moved me to a different house.Joann from the property management told me she could give me a refund for the cleaning charge. I haven't received a dime. I texted her with my concerns and never got a response. The property was in a beautiful setting but one would think that they should check for mold after recovering from 2 hurricanes before renting them.
