"This is a great property on a beautiful quiet stretch of beach. The host was responsive and the house was very clean. I would recommend bringing some extra towels if anyone in your party uses more than one because they provide one towel per person and we had a few folks that wished they had more. I would highly recommend."

"The location is wonderful and it’s great having the 2 houses connected. There are lots of pool and beach toys including chairs. You will need to bring an umbrella or tent. Also, you will need to bring your own hairdryer.You are definitely paying for the location. The cleanliness and house upkeep was not up to par for the price."

"The house has 8 bedrooms, good for our clan. I loved having 2 refrigerators and dishwashers, as it was both sides of a duplex with an adjoining interior door. The pool and hot tub were clean and enjoyed by all in our family. It was a joy to sit on the covered porches with a breeze and hear and see the ocean as we conversed. I wish the outdoor furniture(all quality polywood) had been power sprayed, as it had some stains on it. The furniture by the pool was very clean. The beds were comfortable. It turned out to be fortuitous to have 2 living rooms, as we could play games in one and watch a movie in the other."

Affordable Oceanfront w/ Private Pool!

"We had an amazing stay at Great Expectations East. The house is very spacious and has an excellent set up if you have a large family with various needs. With 5 bedrooms and 4 bathrooms everyone can have their own space. We loved the set up with the dining/ living space and king bedroom on the first floor that opened up to the pool area and walkway to the beach. That allows a quick and easy beach and pool access even with some mobility issues. The beach is just a few steps away from the house, uncrowded with crystal clear, emerald water. The pool was a nice add on - very clean and large enough to swim. The house had everything needed for a week - soap, cleaning supplies, toilet paper, paper towels, spices and even cooking oil. Pots and pans were in excellent shape, everything that you would need for cooking was supplied (crockpot, blender, food chopper, hand-held mixer). The house is renovated with modern updates and very nice decor including hand painted pictures and some pictures of the host family that we loved! Melissa and Eric were very responsive and accommodating. And with all that, the rental price was also very affordable compared to other houses on the area. We can’t wait for our return trip next year!"
