Ellison Lake

The receptionist on shift when we arrived was quite unfriendly. We waited nearly two hours for our room with no progress. Fortunately, once the shift changed, a very polite gentleman took over. After speaking with him and the manager, they quickly allocated our room something the first receptionist easily could have done. As for the hotel itself, both the property and the room were okay.

Wow, what a gem in Downtown Duluth! I'm sad we couldn't stay longer. Brand new property, very clean and well-appointed with all the comforts of home. Staff were very helpful at check-in and gave detailed instructions on accessing the room, parking etc. Room was beautiful, large and squeaky clean. Bed/pillows were very comfortable and linens absolutely spotless. Great location with easy access to dining, shops and bars. The only things that could have made it better were blackout curtains in the bedroom and if the AC unit was a little quieter. We will definitely return :)
