El Rio Golf and Country Club Tours and Activities

Lock-off was "not locked off", security issue Black mold in the bathroom Black strings of hair in the shower Disgusting residue/dust/don't know in the room. Stepped on something, that was troubling No hot water the evening NOR in the morning Breakfast "buffet" was not a buffet whatsoever. Styrofoam plates, my plastic fork broke cutting into a sorry excuse for a piece of sausage. The coffee was beige water and the milk was warm. It was so disgusting I had to leave it, so nasty nasty nasty. Told the guy at the front desk and he could not have cared less. I would call this place "Abysmal". I never use this word but it definitely describes this place, that and "Yuck"

The room was comfortable. My girlfriend loved the decor of the Rose room we reserved. We slept amazing on the comfortable bed. Breakfast was perfect for us. Fresh fruit, yogurt, fresh croissant. The breakfast will not be for people that want a big full breakfast but they do offer $10 coupons to some local restaurants so you can get a full breakfast. It was nice to have a pool and hot tub. Pool is chilly. The grounds are beautiful with flower and green vegetation. The staff was friendly and helpful.

Beautiful grounds, historical setting, good quality restaurant, friendly staff
