"The Mariposa Lodge is quiet, safe, and has friendly and helpful staff. It is on the edge of a very, very small downtown area.
The town population is only about 1500 people as far as I can estimate. So if you are expecting lots of fancy shopping and restaurants, you are not in the right place. But if you want to stay in a quaint, outdoorsy place with about 20 small shops and restaurants on the way to the West gate of Yosemite, then this is the place for you and your family."
"It's so amazing for the first time to stay at Yosemite Westgate Lodge. Room is so clean and convenient. Foods in Restaurant are so delicious and professional services. A little hot for us. We forget to ask to use air conditioning (^_^)"

"We loved every minute of our stay here. The Explorer Cabins were so nice and comfortable and we enjoyed the main Tenaya hotel grounds as well. Loved the pool and the food at Jackalopes. "
"We had chosen a tent where we stayed for 1 night, however, due to the cold weather we asked for an upgrade and they moved us to a cabin, which was excellent with all amenities and a private bath. The shared camp bath was very clean, had acclimatation and the water was good. One piece of advice: be careful with scorpions in the camping area!!"
