This home is near the Heyde Center for the Arts and is close to all that the City of Chippewa Falls has to offer. This 120 year old home is fully renovated with all of the character and charm left in place. Our home has two gas fireplaces perfect for cold winter nights. The home is equipped with Kenmore Elite appliances. Spend the evening in our quaintly lit back yard. Take in the sunset on the porch and be sure to eat breakfast, lunch or dinner on the deck overlooking the city. Enjoy a nice fire on the brick patio or soak away your stress in our outdoor hottub. Please note the outdoor hottub (seasonal) May 1- Thanksgiving. (Occasionally opened by late March-message us to confirm). Our home is a perfect stay for those having their wedding at the Heyde Center for the Arts. Bridal parties use the home to get ready for the big day, the married couple retreat back to the home for a romantic wedding night and it is a great gift opening location the day after! We are also near the Chippewa Falls Ice Arena, home to the Chippewa Steel Hockey Team! We are a hockey family through and through and love the Steel! This house is a great location for Steel families to spend the weekend watching their favorite hockey player! It has all the things I love about older homes - wood floors, doors, and casings. The decorations make you feel at home. And the house has everything you need. My teenage granddaughter gave it high marks. There is quite a bit to do in Chippewa Falls. Irvine park is beautiful. The September weather was perfect for a wedding on the shores of the water, and the sunset was amazing. Love Bridge St and the other points of history in the town. Visit the Leinenkugel Brewery for a fun tour and tasting. Enjoy Tara and Jason's place, easy walk to the main sites of Chippewa Falls. If you plan on sleeping in the upstairs master or twin rooms, be aware of a steep staircase. Good place otherwise for the kids as there are plenty of games to keep busy ##### Jeanne F. We spent time enjoying the beautiful weather on the deck and in the hot tub. Went to the leinenkugal Brewing Company (highly suggest it) and enjoyed visiting Lake Wissota state Park, the Candy Shop, visiting Irvine Park and see the animals while enjoying Olson’s ice cream. This house and this city is great for a friends or family get away or with a special someone! The owner, Tara, was super nice and was informative when there was some tree damage in the yard after a storm! Reading other reviews, yes It was tricky to get to but the owner provided clear directions on how to find it so it wasn't a problem. Internet is slower (50Mps) so if you're looking to work from there, beware that speed is limited. Otherwise, it was exactly as I expected and had everything we needed. ##### Tyler I. This house had such character, it took us 20 minutes just to go through the house and appreciate every detail of the structure and woodwork. The doors were a conversation in itself. Enjoyed the view from the hot tub. We were surprised there was no hand railing on the steep staircase to the upstairs. Would highly recommend this home. Beautiful old home that has been well maintained and updated by owners! Chippewa Falls is a VERY friendly community! 1\. Take your shoes off - a bench or chair in the entry way would have been helpful. There is room for it. 2\. Watch those stairs - NO handrails upstairs or down to basement. 3\. Maybe we missed instructions (don't follow your car GPS) - entrance is not on High Street, we eventually found a helpful neighbor that directed us to the alley Finally, the neighborhood is quiet, quaint and charming - I wish we had known some of the quarks before hand.
