Spacious open concept living room with fireplace, dining, and kitchen area, allowing enough space for a large family. 4K 55 in Roku TV with Netflix & Amazon and 42in TV in each bedroom. Propane grill and open deck with access to beautiful backyard and balcony overlooking woods surrounding the Shawnee Mountain. Utility closets for ski gear or bicycle available upon request. Fast WIFI and work desk for remote work. Our townhouse is located just up the road from the Shawnee Mountain Ski Area. Centrally located between Bushkill Falls and the Delaware National Recreation Area offering great hiking, biking, rivers, streams, and waterfalls. From Spring to Fall, easy access for kayak or canoe rentals. Numerous golf courses are located just minutes away. Between the historical town of Delaware Water Gap and Stroudsburg, a variety of restaurants, music venues, and boutique shops are waiting for you. Best of all, Shawnee is only 75 minutes west of NYC on Rte 80! You are invited to take a break and enjoy our outdoor space. All around community grounds and directly in our backyard, peaceful setting for relaxing on the deck and listening to amazing sounds of nature. To complement, a propane grill is there for your enjoyment. If you’re more active and looking for longer hiking or water activities, we highly recommend the Delaware River, DWG National Recreation Area, Bushkill Falls, Hidden lake park, and trails, all just 5 to 10 minutes away. Kalahari, Aquatopia at Camelback and Gray Wolf water parks are just 30 minutes away. For adults, there are a number of wineries and breweries to visit, many offering special events with live music and entertainment. Mount Airy Casino 35 minutes away, and for those who are looking for a designer shopping , Crossings Factory Outlets are only 25 minutes away. Supermarkets and restaurants are just over a mile away. The location turned out to be fantastic, close enough to highway access to reach Kalahari or Camelback for day trips but far enough away from the main road to feel like a getaway. Upon arriving, the property was exactly as advertised - very updated and appeared to be in good working condition. The AC appeared to be working, however after a day, we realized that the place was NOT cooling down. We told the property manager, Tom, and were told that it would cool down soon. Just a few minutes later, Tom texted back telling us that there was in fact a problem with the AC and that he would be out soon to fix it. He did exactly that and was extremely up front about the issue. The problem was fixed about as quickly as humanly possible so we were very pleased! Also, we asked for additional sheets and he promptly delivered those to the property. He checked in with us on a regular basis to make sure that we were happy and comfortable. The house was very clean and comfortable. Conveniently located for easy access to fantastic hiking trails and fall foliage. Several good restaurants nearby. It was very cozy and immaculate. Furnishings are comfortable and modern. Kitchen is well equipped. The location is great; quiet, secluded, yet close to nearby attractions such as Shawnee Inn, ski resort, Delaware Water Gap, East Stroudsburg, and several restaurants. The owner is very responsive and answers immediately. Our purpose for going was to attend Family Weekend at ESU where our son attends as a freshman.
