"The RESORT was great, overall. Very well maintained, and exceptionally clean grounds. The Jr. Suite was big and everything was clean and refreshed by housekeeping each day. We enjoyed the Pool Bar each day and was entertained by Ismael, our bartender. Great drinks, fabulous atmosphere. Our Butler, Alfaro, attended to our needs and was quick to make things happen. The only disappointment was the food. It was mainly pretty bland, with the exception being 9 Doors Restaurant which was very good."

From front desk, to the waitstaff, to housekeeping, to the grounds crew - everyone greeted us with a smile and a hello. The food was great, the facilities were wonderful, and we will certainly be back - to DR or any of the other Excellence locations. "

"The staff was very nice. The rooms were also very nice. Most of the food was very good. There were a lot of options of where to hang out. They did a great job of cleaning the beach every morning. We stayed in a swim out room facing the pool and it was great. Only real complaint is the pools are not heated and were quite cold."
