"The check in process and interior of the trailer were fine. The staff were polite and professional. The poor review is because the trailer is a stones throw away from a main city road and highway route 5. The constant noise and pollution from big rigs made it impossible to sit outside. We couldn't hear each other talk. And of course sleeping was out of the question. I repeat, constant noise from trucks. "Overall a great place to stay. Our group of 6 adults had plenty of room to spread out and come together (for meals and game play).We only had one minor complaint. Several of the bedroom doors did not latch. This was a problem because one of our dogs is very food driven and was able to enter the room of our other dog and steal food. Not a major complaint but latching doors would be nice.We loved the Dunsmuir/Mt. Shasta area. Lots of great hiking and beautiful scenery.The hot tub worked beautifully and was enjoyed by all!"

"We recently spent three wonderful nights at Dena's charming vacation rental in Dunsmuir, and our experience exceeded all expectations.From the start, Dena was incredibly helpful and made sure our stay was comfortable. Her directions were clear and easy to follow, making our arrival stress-free. I had mentioned that this trip was a birthday getaway for my husband and me, so we were delighted to arrive and find birthday banners and fresh flowers waiting for us. Such a thoughtful and unexpected touch!The home was exactly as advertised—clean, comfortable, and filled with eclectic décor that perfectly complemented its historic character. It had a nostalgic, retro charm that made it both unique and inviting.We enjoyed strolling through the quaint streets of Dunsmuir, dining at several local restaurants, and meeting friendly, welcoming people where ever we went. The town itself is a hidden gem, and Dena's home was the perfect place from which to enjoy it.We couldn't have been more pleased with our stay and would happily return.
