Take a steamer cruise and explore the hills and lochs of the Cowal Peninsula. An abundance of outdoor activities are on offer with sailing, sea fishing, windsurfing, fast speed RIB boat tours, quad bikes, clay shooting and more. Nearby, the magnificent woodland gardens at Benmore Botanic Gardens are well worth a visit. Located within the Loch Lomond National Park the area is ideal for walkers and cyclists of all abilities and boasts a magnificent diversity of scenery, with dramatic peaks, waterfalls, hidden caves and mysterious, forest covered slopes. We were lucky to see dolphins, submarines, cruise ships and lots of other wildlife. The double bed was old and very uncomfortable (very soft mattress). The kids loved the beach right on the doorstep. Pucks Glenn is a must visit as well as Benmore. The kitchen was well equipped but could do with some new sharp knives. As the weather can be hit and miss a few board games would be good. We went into Dunoon and brought a few from the charity shop. Also with teens in the house and having a family film night a larger TV for the size of the room would be good. Overall a good getaway.
