Immediately the sound of the waves of the Caribbean Sea welcomes you, it is calling you to see more. Take a short stroll to the pristine white sands of Duncan Bay Beach, it seems like you can see for miles. The villa is adjacent to Jacob Taylor Beach, a public beach and fishing village with local restaurants and bars serving as a watering hole to locals. Fall asleep to the soothing sounds of a white noise machine provided in each bedroom or to the sounds of Caribbean beats from our neighbors at Jacob Taylor Beach. Upon your arrival, you and your guests will be pleased to find that a clean, spacious home awaits you. If you so choose our wonderful housekeeper Althea will have a hot meal and a cold drink ready for you also. Althea’s services, to include laundry, cleaning, and cooking are included in your stay if you so desire. Purchase of groceries for which the guest is responsible can be arranged either via Althea or with the local grocer (5 minutes away) who offers delivery service. A comfortable night’s sleep awaits in any one of the three air-conditioned bedrooms, two of which have king-sized beds, complete with en-suite bathrooms for your convenience. The living room may also be used to comfortably sleep two additional guests on the daybed with pop-up trundle – a fourth bathroom is available for their convenience as well. Every room in this home is equipped with a ceiling fan to keep the home as cool as possible. Though there is no air-conditioning in the living room, louvered windows in both the living and dining rooms can be opened to allow a cross-breeze, and standing fans are also provided. You will find it a pleasure to wake up in the morning to a light-filled fully equipped kitchen where you can make a hot cup of coffee with the Ninja coffee maker and enjoy your breakfast inside or outside in the front garden. Indulge in an early morning stroll along the beach – you may be accompanied by our local furry friends, the “brown dog posse” as I playfully refer to them as who enjoy seeing people. If you’re up early enough you may see the local fishermen going out to sea for that fresh seafood catch cooked up at the bars & restaurants at Jacob Taylor Beach next door – a fishing village and craft market. This well-appointed home is so close to a wild beach on Jamaica’s north shore. You can walk for a few kilometres without seeing anyone. Residential community is quiet, but the reggae rhythms of the local bar can be loud on Weekend nights. We had great sleeps on 2 out of our 3 nights there. Althea, the cook was amazing! The host Lee-Ann is very friendly and professional responding to all inquiries before and after the booking was made. I stayed here with my spouse and 4 additional adults. The beach is breathtaking. The housekeeper Althea is so kind and attentive keeping the villa spotless and cooking us all our Jamaican favorites like salt mackerel, plantain Porridge,stew peas and Curry chicken back. Lee-Ann was very helpful and easy to contact. She was pro-active when there was a minor issue with the freezer that she got fixed within a day. The house was just a very short walk away from a beautiful beach that was clearly a hidden gem. We loved how Duncans wasnt touristy at all! We hired Pablo to drive us around for multiple excursions throughout the week. Beds were very comfortable and were very happy to have AC on the warmer nights. The really best part of our vacation was the very lovely Althea! OMG, her cooking was fantastic and she coordinated the groceries to make this vacation super relaxing. She kept the house absolutely spotless as well! This is my 4th vacation to the Caribbean and it was my favorite so far...so I highly recommend Sea Miracle to anyone that wants a laid back vacation. 7 out of 5 stars (mostly for the amazing location and Althea's amazing cooking). It is equipped with all modern appliances, even solar heater and solar generated electricity for the ACs. The owner was friendly and super helpful to arrange tours, transfers and even a cook who cooked local dishes and knew everybody around.
