It was a very happy experience staying at the Anchor Inn. Staff friendly and helpful, lovely food. Room very compact, not much storage. Could have done with bedside cabinets. Staff are friendly, welcoming and helpful. The room, although compact, had everything we needed with ample storage for a few days clothing, a comfortable bed and tea & coffee facilities. The ensuite had a good, but not spacious, shower, however, the window was clear glass without a blind and it did feel like you were a little exposed when using the bathroom. Breakfast was excellent with a good range of choices. Optional lunch or dinner dining is also very good but it is advisable to book.
