Frances is such a brilliant host. I arrived to tea and freshly baked scones and a lovely chat after my 3 hour drive from Loch Ness. The shared kitchen/lounge has plenty of room for guests and my room was large and spotlessly clean. I had the opportunity to chat to other guests and in the evening a short walk took me to the Village Green where the pipe band was playing. I had dinner at The Clachan, which was recommended by Frances, and I was not disappointed. Drymen is a lovely village to stopover with everything at your fingertips and a friendly welcoming community. Highly recommed a stay with Frances at Kip in the Kirk. Frances was attentive and friendly. The room was comfortable and very clean with plenty character. Breakfast was not extensive but was good quality and plentiful. A bit cold at first but once the heat came through it was adequate. Very comfortable, bright and immaculate. Frances delivered continental breakfast in the morning and later joined us for a blather. Great host and cottage. I was made to feel very welcome throughout, slept like a log (a snoring one as it turns out!) and was very refreshed the following morning. The place was spotless and had a wonderful warm charm about it.
