I arrived to tea and freshly baked scones and a lovely chat after my 3 hour drive from Loch Ness. The shared kitchen/lounge has plenty of room for guests and my room was large and spotlessly clean. I had the opportunity to chat to other guests and in the evening a short walk took me to the Village Green where the pipe band was playing. I had dinner at The Clachan, which was recommended by Frances, and I was not disappointed. Drymen is a lovely village to stopover with everything at your fingertips and a friendly welcoming community. Highly recommed a stay with Frances at Kip in the Kirk. A bit cold at first but once the heat came through it was adequate. Very comfortable, bright and immaculate. Frances delivered continental breakfast in the morning and later joined us for a blather. Great host and cottage. I was made to feel very welcome throughout, slept like a log (a snoring one as it turns out!) and was very refreshed the following morning. The place was spotless and had a wonderful warm charm about it.
