I arrived to tea and freshly baked scones and a lovely chat after my 3 hour drive from Loch Ness. The shared kitchen/lounge has plenty of room for guests and my room was large and spotlessly clean. I had the opportunity to chat to other guests and in the evening a short walk took me to the Village Green where the pipe band was playing. I had dinner at The Clachan, which was recommended by Frances, and I was not disappointed. Drymen is a lovely village to stopover with everything at your fingertips and a friendly welcoming community. Highly recommed a stay with Frances at Kip in the Kirk. The mattress was a bit uncomfortable (complaining on high level) and the pub next door played loud music until late into the night, which was a bit distracting as we had a long drive before and tried sleeping early.
