LilleHuus Nessmersiel – Vacation Home for Families, Seniors, and Vacations with Dogs

Our LilleHuus in Nessmersiel (Drosselstraße 29) is a personally managed, family- and dog-friendly vacation home in a quiet location, just a few minutes’ walk from the dike, the harbour, and the Wadden Sea.

We work without agencies and take care of the house, its amenities, and our guests ourselves—with plenty of experience and passion.

The house is ideal for families with children, seniors, and vacations with dogs.

First floor – comfortable & accessible

• Open-concept living and dining area with a wood-burning stove
• Fully equipped kitchen
• Ground-floor bedroom
• Completely step-free bathroom

• Toilet with two fold-down grab bars

The ground-floor bedroom features two single beds (each 90 × 190 cm).

The bed against the wall (on the right) has a fully electrically adjustable slatted frame.

The head and foot sections can be easily adjusted at the touch of a button—this enhances sleeping comfort and is particularly convenient for seniors and guests with physical limitations.

Access on the first floor is step-free—short distances, practical, and convenient.

Living & Dining Area

The living area is intentionally cozy but not cluttered:
• Sofa set
• Flat-screen TV
• Sound system (Bluetooth / Spotify-ready)
• Games, books, and game console
• Wood-burning stove

The large dining table with 6 chairs and a high chair forms the centrepiece of the dining area.

The kitchen is fully equipped with, among other things:
• Stove, oven, microwave
• Refrigerator
• Toaster, electric kettle, coffee maker, egg cooker
• Pots, pans, dishes, and baking dishes

An additional fridge-freezer and washer-dryer are located in the utility room.

Upper Floor – Quiet & Relaxing

The upper floor features:
• Two bedrooms
• Cozy sitting area with natural light and a reading chair
• Second bathroom with shower and toilet

There are intentionally no televisions or radios on the upper floor—many guests enjoy the peace and quiet here and use the living area on the first floor for shared activities.

Bedroom on the left:
• Two single beds (90 cm x 200 cm)
• Games, play mats
• Shelves (secured to prevent tipping)

Bedroom on the right:
• Large double bed (180 cm x 200 cm)
• Crib (1.60 m) included; cannot be booked separately
• Travel crib available free of charge
• Bedside lamps with USB-A and USB-C ports

A maximum of 6 regular sleeping spots are available throughout the house.

Parking:
• 1 vehicle can park directly on the property. The street is now a play street (risk of getting a ticket)—parking is permitted around the corner (50 m) outside the play street zone.

Dogs are welcome:
• The property is completely fenced in (fence height approx. 1.10 m)
• Outdoor dog shower (high-quality, custom-built)
• Dog crates, bowls, poop bags, and toys in the utility room
• Surcharge per dog: 6 € / night
• Veterinarian: Dr. Hanna Lütkehus, Hage (approx. 11 km)
• Hospital: Ubbo-Emmius Clinic, Norden (approx. 17 km)
