It's nearly impossible to walk to the metro station or souk or waterfront because the roads are blocked off, torn up, barricades, fences and construction equipment everywhere. In fact the whole city seems to be under construction. Good size, smart room with a view to the sea in the distance. Breakfast reasonable including a cooked omelette, evening buffet OK at a reasonable price. You can't really get away from the TVs as they have 7 of them in the dining room but they will turn the sound down if requested. Nice pool area on the top floor. One unusual feature is that a small mosque is just below the hotel on the sea facing side so you can listen to the Imam calling the faithful to prayer at 5am, lunchtime, afternoon and evening which I enjoyed.
