Disentis Ski Resort Tours and Activities

The staff were very friendly, welcoming, and always willing to help, which was the best part of our stay. Unfortunately, the lack of air conditioning made this one of the most uncomfortable hotel stays I’ve had. We visited during a heat wave, and the room was unbearably hot, making it extremely difficult to sleep. Despite opening the windows, there was very little airflow, and the room remained uncomfortably warm throughout the night. I truly appreciate the kindness of the staff, but I would not recommend staying here during the summer unless the hotel installs air conditioning or clearly informs guests that rooms do not have it.

The hotel is located in very nice location that is hard to beat. Upscale restaurants, designer shops around, short walk to the old town district and 2 blocks from the lake. The hotel shows age, but the bathroom was remodeled. The A/C unit kept up with very high temperatures outside. The restaurant in the hotel served very good breakfast buffet and was open for dinners. The front desk staff was friendly and very helpful.

The best part of this hotel is the breakfast! Really, really amazing! The rest was not good. The location is central and close to many things, but the road outside the building is super noisy. We did not have a window in our room - it was a door to a shared balcony, and it was very weird hearing other guests hang out there. Since there was no AC and it was super hot, we had to sleep with a slightly open balcony door and a window to get some air but it was super noisy and we did not get good sleep at all. It honestly felt like a student dorm with this sharing style. We paid appx.750usd per night, which is extremely overpriced for what we were getting. If I were to come back to Lucerne, I would try to stay at a hotel with a lake view for a more peaceful sleep. All in all, i believe there are better hotels in Lucerne than this one.
