"It went so wrong and was lied to and have my straighteners stolen while the hotel stored my bags! No cctv in a 5 star resort!!! I left Corfu on the Saturday instead of staying til the Thursday. When I arrived at 11pm I had a very warm welcome and I was happy with my room. The nxt day I went to reception to book a second night but only if the room I was already in was available. I was told it was available but they told me to book on Expedia as I found a good price . In front of the lady I showed her every step of the booking. As soon as I pressed pay I was told sorry you can’t have that room now! I asked for a refund but they said no even though they admitted they had misunderstood I said I only wanted to stay on if the room was similar with the long balcony. I was told this was possible if I waited 4 hours for a new room. 4 hours later I was put into the same room!!! The hotel had around 30 children under 3 screaming in the VIP lounge. I’m a mother but this was like a playground not a holiday. The aircon was stuck on 15 degrees and was being fixed for over an hour. And as the weather was really bad the hotel still won’t let u put it past 21 degrees which meant it was so cold there. The luggage room the door was left open and no cctv which is obviously why my expensive straighteners were stolen. Every time I was at the desk I heard people complaining and I think because of two very rude members of staff behind the desk it made it worse for everyone"

"I stayed at San Antonio Corfu Resort for 4 nights with my partner. The location in Kalami Bay is beautiful and is the clear highlight of the stay, with stunning views and a peaceful atmosphere. However, the overall experience was let down by poor organisation and inconsistent service throughout. On arrival, I was told by phone at 11am that our room was ready, but when we arrived around 2pm we were told it was not ready and to wait for a WhatsApp message. Other guests, including older couples, were checked in ahead of us while we continued waiting without updates or apology. We eventually checked in around 3:30pm. Shortly after, there was a power cut and ongoing air conditioning issues. The air con first stopped working entirely and later became stuck on a heating setting, making the room extremely uncomfortable. We had to repeatedly walk around 10 minutes each way down and back up steep paths. Each time, there was little urgency or apology, and we had to push for any meaningful response. The room reached around 29 degrees before we were eventually given two fans. I also had to actively push for a complimentary meal that was eventually offered by the manager as compensation, rather than it being proactively provided. There was no door screening, which meant insects could easily enter the room, something we have not experienced at other stays in Corfu. There was also no information on hotel amenities or contact details within the room."

"A very pleasant hotel with happy, friendly staff, especially my chambermaid. I had a main building, sea view room. Nice view with plenty of storage. Thought bathroom was a bit basic. Shower floor tiles are slippery but hotel does provide a shower mat. Sink was a bit ‘contemporary’ in design as it was self draining (no plug) so was difficult to rinse through items like swimming costumes. Breakfast in main restaurant provided a good selection. I have never seen such a big block of fresh butter from which you can carve out a portion! Buffet dinner selection was also good. No need for anyone to rush down at 6 am to reserve a sunbed as there are plenty around the site - beach, pool, garden and on a jetty. There is a large beach and a smaller ‘quiet’ beach. Coarse sand with some gravelly areas but walkable bare foot. There is a water sports area on site in a small harbour type area with speedboats and jet skis. It was very quiet during my visit but during the high summer months I expect it would get quite noisy. Not sure this hotel would suit someone with mobility issues as it is quite a few slopes and lots of steps."

"The property is wonderful and perches on a hill with incredible views. The owner and his wife are wonderful people. I was in a king bed room overlooking the water, a magnificent view. They have everything you need snack wise at a very reasonable price. Plenty of good restaurants around within walking distance too, albeit up a hill about 500m or so. I wish I could of stayed longer to support this nice spot. I'll be there when I'm back in Corfu."

"The hotel was clean and bright. Breakfast was reasonably good. The staff were amazing. Facilities were mediocre and the area quite dismal. Although we went out of season. I expect car hire is the best option or 45min+ bus journeys or pricey taxi. The staff definitely make up for it. Think we had the smallest shower in world! Spa was nice."

"What an amazing place to stay in Corfu, it really is a ‘hidden’ gem of a cove in Corfu. It is situated quite close to Corfu Old Town, it would take a maximum of 35 mins by public transport and the majority of this is just walking to the bus station. We were impressed from the very beginning; the rooms were spacious, and we had a very nice balcony with a very beautiful view of Corfu and the main pool by the hotel. We found the accommodation itself very relaxing and peaceful especially by the pool. The toilets were very clean and the hotel provides a robe, some slippers, complimentary water, coffee and chocolate brownies. The breakfast options were very good and also vegeterian friendly, which my partner really loved. The staff were also very friendly and always ready to help us. We will definitely be staying here again when we come back to Corfu!!"
