"Property was very clean, neat and well appointed. Really appreciated the extras like breakfast items, luxury towels, linens and toiletries. The property had a quite relaxing vibe. Owner was attentive and receptive, quickly addressing a couple of issues that arose. Expedia displayed this property during a search filter including a fireplace, however, there is no fireplace. Heating is electric/air conditioning. "

"This was a great property for a family get away. It was child friendly and spacious. Kitchen was well equipped for a large number of guests. Very close to the beach! DVD player didn’t seem to work in lounge room and some of the toys were broken and mixed up. "

"Lovely, spacious accommodation. The children loved staying here so close to the beach. On the whole, we were provided with enough of everything (utensils etc), though I was a little surprised we were left with only 3 dishwashing tablets (so we bought some more and left a few for the next guests). Also, one of the bedroom doors tended to lock itself when closed & no one in the room, was difficult to unlock from the outside. We struggled to get clothes for 7 people dry, with no dryer in the place...

"What a lovely old house we had such a lovely relaxing chilled weekend. So lovely and clean cosy and warm and comfy beds. Only 20 mins. from Launceston and the town of Exeter only Minutes away from the house for supplies. Lovely and quiet. There were only 3 of us but plenty of room for at least 8 adults. We will be back when next in the area again such a lovely view over the Tamar Valley. Cheers Maree. K and Friends"

"The house is spacious, comfortable and fully equipped. It is a stand-alone house on a big block with a beautiful garden. The location is excellent, only a short stroll to bakeries. Cafes, restaurants and a brewery. Highly recommended. "

Perfectly located as a base to see the Launceston and the surrounding area. The local bakery is a must visit as well as the fish and chip shop. Both within easy walking distance. "My husband and I booked the Penguin beach house as a place for us and our 3 year old daughter to rest after the excitement of crossing on the boat. It was a wonderful place to stay. The heater had been left on for us so when we arrived on a frosty June morning, the house was warm and inviting. The house had a friendly fee and contained everything you could want. The shower was amazing!!"
