However, the horrible couch with the black shag upholstery is a terrible thing to have in an apartment where people come and go. How can it possibly be cleaned? How can you tell if it's EVER been cleaned. Yuch! The window sills were dusty and had hair in them in the bathroom and bedroom. The stove had gunk in the burners and the inside was crusty. Overall it was decent for one night but if i had planned on cooking, that would have been an issue. Its really just about the attention to detail and knowing that those things are being ignored what other cleaning was sub par. There was an issue with check in and we had no codes to get into the place until over half an hour after checkin. The host was apologetic and offered us late check out for the inconvenience even though we didnt use it, I appreciated the offer. Also had the fire alarm go off just after midnight, which is out of the control of the host i understand, but according to the other residents it happens all the time and most people dont even leave the building when it happens.
